In the Junior Girls race, the 3 Galway schools finished in the top four teams with Craughwell NS taking the Connacht title, Claregalway in 3rd place and Scoil Chroi Naofa Athenry in 4th place. Grainne McDaid (Craughwell) was the highest placed individual from Galway when finishing 4th.

In the Junior Boys race, Oranmore Boys NS easily won the team title and Liam Forde (Ballyglass NS) took 3rd place in the individual rankings.

Well done to all of the participants as these were tough races on an extremely difficult course, one that most senior runners would struggle on!
